MS building sealant originated in Japan and was first developed as a two-component formula product. Its market application is quite mature, and the corresponding construction technology and performance have also been recognized by the industry. Two component MS building sealant is composed of a matrix resin of MS polymer mixed with fillers, plasticizers, catalysts, etc. Due to its good aging resistance, it is widely used for sealing and waterproofing of PC exterior wall construction joints. However, the adhesion between two component MS building sealant and concrete substrate is not ideal. Therefore, MS building primer is chosen to strengthen the bonding surface, and it needs to be pre mixed before application, and then extracted with a glue gun for construction, which is inconvenient to operate. With the continuous deepening of research, single component MS building sealant has emerged. Its main performance is not only comparable to that of two-component MS building sealant, but also can be directly applied with low equipment requirements and convenient operation.
